Sense of Urgency ~~ Being Timely

Florida MUFON consists of 165 dedicated individuals who want to know the answer to the question - ‘We are being visited, but by who?"

MUFON is dedicated to the scientific search for that answer. We are not a cult nor a group of ‘Space Brothers’ wearing ‘Tin foil beanie’, we are serious individuals from all walks of life, dedicated to the scientific study of UFO’s, who seek the answers.

We of Florida MUFON enjoy working as a team, and many things take place when an event occurs. We have questions that need to be answered as quickly as possible; where did the event occur? When did the event happen? Then, what occurred. Was there a landing and are there landing traces? Those question must be asked quickly and promptly, we must find these answers as quickly as possible.

Finding those answers has one uncompromising and unrelenting barrier, time. I have learned from experience that witnesses have a tendency to forget and lose interest very quickly after an incident takes place and it is our responsibility to find those answers before this happens. To accomplish the task of finding those answers and best be accomplished with the best tool that I can impart to you a "Sense Of Urgency."

All of this only boils down to one thing, if you don’t have a Sense of Urgency about your job as an investigator; or anything else, you need to find something else to do. When you get the call or email that a case has been assigned to you, then is the time to contact the witness! You have less than 24 hours to contact that witness before witness remorse settles in; Face-to-Face contact has the optimum success rate.

A ‘Sense Of Urgency’ will insure your success as an investigator, as a successful salesman and sales manager, believe me, when I tell you that your closing ratio will only increase when you get a Sense Of Urgency.
